As HR professionals, we are often requested to have the conversations no one else wants to – or at the very least, coach another person on how to discuss uncomfortable topics.  At our June meeting, Allison Blankenship shows you a 4-step conversational model to not only initiate awkward conversations but how to get results as well.

    You leave the meeting with:

    • A proven conversational model to use up and down the corporate ladder

    • Strategies to redirect behavior while positively motivating the other person

    • Neutral language to use in difficult situations

Allison is president of Precision Speaking, Inc., which specializes in communicating under pressure.  With more than 20 years’ experience, Allison has tools and methodologies to become assertive without being pushy, create buy-in and compliance plus be a dynamic presenter despite boring topics.

Allison trained an HR team on this same model to address an individual who had been disruptive for more than 2 years.  As a result, the team accomplished more in 20 minutes than the past two years, and completely turned the situation (and employee) around.

Come ready to engage and participate in ideas to save you time, energy and most importantly, sanity!
